Tony Attal, the Jew from Netanya who said no

On September 7, Thailand orders the park manager’s deportation; his appeal is rejected. “Jews have a country, a state and an army. They must walk with their heads held high.” Send it to someone who thinks nothing can be done.

Summer 2026, on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Kevin Dimino, a Frenchman who co-runs an animal park, bans Israeli visitors and raises a Palestinian flag at the entrance. He says he was reacting to the behavior of some Israeli tourists. Thousands of miles away, in Netanya, a French-speaking Jew decides not to let it go: Tony Attal.

## The voice of Netanya

An influencer based in Netanya, Tony Attal describes himself as an activist against antisemitism. He appears on French news channel CNews and on i24NEWS, where he says out loud what many only think. In June 2025, during the war with Iran, he summed up his line: "The days of Jews in striped pyjamas walking into gas chambers are over!" Today, he says, the Jew of Israel wears the IDF uniform. In February 2026, on CNews, he recalled that "the Jewish people have been persecuted for 4,000 years."

On October 17, 2024, the day after Yahya Sinwar, the man behind October 7, was killed, he held nothing back on CNews: "It's more than relief, it's joy. It's an event we had been waiting for since October 8."

## The Koh Samui park

Tony Attal did more than object to the ban. He says he saw no evidence of the behavior blamed on Israeli tourists, and accuses the park's manager of antisemitic remarks, on video and on Instagram. With other accounts, he compiled those statements, had them translated into Thai and English, and alerted Thailand's foreign and tourism ministries.

On September 7, 2026, Thailand's interior ministry ordered Kevin Dimino's deportation, citing threats, harassment, assault and stirring racial and religious division. On September 23, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul rejected his appeal. Kevin Dimino disputes the accusations; the administrative court remains open to him. An Israeli man who had confronted him was also deported.

"I almost jumped for joy. We had been waiting a month for this," Tony Attal said on i24NEWS. His conclusion: "Today, Jews have a country, a state and an army. They must be proud, walk with their heads held high, and fight antisemitism with all their strength."
